“At the end of the day, we are in this industry to help others feel beautiful and I’ve decided to take a stand to help change the world one person at a time,” says Ashley. Like several other Beauty Changes Lives scholarship winners, Ashley was inspired by the power of makeup to enhance her grandmother’s confidence as she battled cancer. “Throughout her battle, I saw how she used makeup to enhance her features and how her natural beauty continued to shine through despite chemotherapy and radiation treatments,” she notes. In the future, Ashley aspires to work with survivors to make them feel beautiful again. “I want to help those who may no longer feel like themselves reclaim their confidence,” says Ashley.
