“I have always had a passion for health and wellness. After a near-death car accident last year, life abruptly changed and I had to learn to walk again. After recovering, I started over and discovered what path has the potential for fulfillment and giving back. Esthetics aligns with my passion for health. I love the idea of helping people recover and feel healthy especially those who struggle with disease and scars. After my struggle to regain health, this scholarship gives me an opportunity to contribute to others. Caring for our bodies, inside and out, is key to nourishing the soul.”
