BCL co-founder and chair person, Lynelle Lynch accepts Andrew Gomez Compassionate Service Award

Celebrating a leader who leads with heart

On Sunday, at the Paul Mitchell Gala, Beauty Changes Lives Co-Founder and Chairperson Lynelle Lynch was honored with the Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation’s Compassionate Service Award—a recognition that reflects the extraordinary impact she has and continues to make across the beauty industry.

Presented by her good friends and industry icons Jan Arnold and Winn Claybaugh, the award celebrated Lynelle’s remarkable ability to bring people together around a shared purpose and turn that purpose into meaningful action.

As Jan shared from the stage, “Lynelle doesn’t just lead organizations—she inspires movements. Through her vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the next generation of beauty professionals, she has helped mobilize millions of dollars in support of scholarships, mentorship, and career development.”

Winn echoed that sentiment, recognizing Lynelle’s unique ability to unite brands, educators, and industry organizations around a common goal: creating opportunities for future beauty professionals through education and scholarships.

For Lynelle, the recognition came as a complete surprise!

“This is so humbling… I do these things because I believe they’re the right things to do, not for recognition. I was completely shocked by this award, and I’m incredibly grateful.”

At Beauty Changes Lives, we see Lynelle’s impact every day. Her belief in the power of education and her dedication to opening doors for others are at the heart of our mission.

Thank you to John Paul Mitchell Systems and the Andrew Gomez Dream Foundation for recognizing Lynelle’s extraordinary contributions to our industry and celebrating a leader whose compassion continues to change lives.

Congratulations, Lynelle, on this well-deserved honor. Thank you for continuing to bring our industry together, champion the next generation, and remind us all what’s possible when we lead with compassion and purpose.
