Tuesday, November 3, 2026 — What if just $2 could help change someone’s future? Beauty Changes Lives (BCL), the nonprofit dedicated to making careers in beauty and wellness a first-choice career, is inviting the entire beauty and wellness community—and everyone who believes in the power of opportunity—to find out.
Today, Beauty Changes Lives officially launches its $2 Giving Tuesday campaign, a collective giving initiative with an ambitious goal: raise $50,000 by Tuesday, December 1, 2026, to support the next generation of beauty and wellness professionals.
The ask is simple: Can you give $2 (or more) to change a life?
Two dollars alone may not seem like much. It won’t cover tuition, purchase a professional toolkit, or fund a scholarship. But when thousands of people come together, those small acts of generosity can create something extraordinary.
The power isn’t in the $2. It’s in all of us.
“At Beauty Changes Lives, we’ve seen firsthand how the smallest acts of generosity can create a ripple effect,” said Lisa Roeberg, President and Executive Director of Beauty Changes Lives. “We’re not asking everyone to make a big donation. We’re asking everyone to be part of something big. Whether it’s $2, $20, or $200, every contribution moves us closer to creating opportunities for aspiring beauty and wellness professionals. When we come together as an industry and a community, there’s no limit to the lives we can change.”

Every dollar raised through the campaign will help fuel the Beauty Changes Lives mission, supporting scholarships, mentorship, advanced education, and career-building opportunities for aspiring and emerging professionals.
Collectively, donations can help:
- Remove financial barriers: Provide scholarships that help aspiring professionals pursue education in cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, nail technology, and wellness careers.
- Build confidence and connections: Support mentorship opportunities that connect future professionals with experienced industry leaders who can offer guidance, encouragement, and career insights.
- Create pathways to success: Expand access to advanced education, professional development, and resources that help emerging talent build sustainable careers.
- Strengthen the future of the industry: Help more passionate individuals turn their talent and creativity into meaningful careers, financial independence, and opportunities for entrepreneurship.
Beauty Changes Lives has already helped more than 1,500 aspiring professionals pursue their dreams through scholarships and career-building opportunities. Among scholarship recipients, 95% graduate their program of study and 92% are still working in the industry after the 5 year mark—demonstrating the lasting impact of investing in future talent.

Beauty Changes Lives is encouraging supporters not to wait until December to make their contribution. Every early donation helps build momentum, inspire others to participate, and bring the organization closer to its $50,000 goal.
The campaign is designed to make giving back accessible to everyone—from students and independent professionals to salon and spa owners, educators, manufacturers, distributors, industry partners, and consumers.
