Beauty Changes Lives was honored to join Meevo at Meevo LIVE!, where Beauty Changes Lives Founder and Chairperson Lynelle Lynch and scholarship recipient Payton Mattas shared the mission and impact of Beauty Changes Lives with beauty and wellness business leaders from across the country.
During the event, Lynch highlighted the powerful role the beauty and wellness industry can play in opening doors for future professionals, while Mattas shared a personal perspective on how scholarship support can help students pursue their education, build confidence, and launch meaningful careers.
Mattas, recipient of the L’Oréal Professional LGBTQIA+ Cosmetology Student Scholarship, spoke about the emotional impact of being selected for the award.
“I have always felt like people had their eyes on me, but receiving this scholarship made me feel seen,” said Mattas. “It reminded me that my story, my dreams, and my future in this industry matter.”
“For the first time, I could invision a full, bright, expansive future for myself.”
