Attending a “Look Good, Feel Better” event with her aunt opened Jenna’s eyes to all of the compassion, care and confidence beauty professionals provide as they donate their time, talent and even wigs to help those undergoing camper look and feel better. “Watching the makeovers, I saw some people forget they were sick, even for a few hours,” said Jenna. Hearing a cancer patient say she couldn’t wait to show off eyebrows for the first time in two years, Jenna knew she’d found her calling. “Beauty school is only the beginning; there are so many ways to help others in this industry,” she says in her application video.
