Jordan received her first haircut at age 10 and her transformation from waist-length to shoulder-length hair opened her eyes to the power of a great haircut. Throughout middle school and high school, Jordan evolved from cutting her hair to coloring it multiple hues. Yet despite her passion for hairstyling, friends and relatives told her she would regret enrolling in cosmetology school and wouldn’t make any money in the industry. After a seven-year career in retail and several promotions, Jordan’s husband inspired her to pursue her passion. “When I toured the Salon Professional Academy, the big piece of the puzzle that was missing from my life was found, and I realized that the missing piece was beauty,” says Jordan.
