Accepting Applications:
WINTER: December 1, 2019 – February 29, 2020
OPEN TO: Licensed Cosmetologists who are looking to become educators (on-stage, in-salon or in schools).
VALUE: $13,000
MENTORSHIP TRAINING DETAILS: year-long program (40 weeks) where winner is chosen to take part of the GPS mentoring, weekly group coaching calls with quarterly 1-on-1 coaching sessions included, and access to online video library.
Submission Requirements:
1. Provide proof of an up to date license (photo or photocopy).
2. Submit a 3-minute YouTube video answering scholarship questions:
o Explain what you hope to achieve through this mentorship, and how it can help your own career.
o Briefly explain your journey in the beauty industry thus far and where you want to take your career.
o Why do you want to become an educator?
o What responsibilities do you think come along with being an educator?
3 Submit (3) three images (no larger than 8MBs each) of photos depicting work you are most proud of – such as before and after client
images and/or client transformations.
