As a writer of short horror films and an extra in a zombie short movie, Daniel was familiar with the scare factor. Then he did something really horrifying – changing careers at 38. “I finally asked myself why I was working in the tech world when I should be in the artistic world,” he says in his application video. Enrolling in make-up school introduced him to the creativity and expression that captivated him when he first saw the Michael Jackson “Thriller” video. “Since I made the decision to become a make-up artist, my life has never been better,” he says.
