A Message from Renée Rouleau

It’s been over 30 years now since I started my esthetics journey, following in the footsteps of my grandmother who inspired me to pursue a career in beauty like she did. I have had great mentors along the way who believed in me and contributed to my success, so it is so very exciting to launch the Renée Rouleau Esthetician Scholarship, with the help of Beauty Changes Lives. To be able to support the next generation of estheticians in their journey brings me tremendous joy.

Being an esthetician has been such an emotionally rewarding for me and I have certainly learned that beauty is more than skin deep. The healing power of touch can truly transform someone’s life in a positive way along with the skin benefits that allow others to feel more confident when they look in the mirror. I sincerely hope that these candidates are able to one day recognize how much they are truly improving others.

One of the main attractions of partnering with Beauty Changes Lives was the aligned mission of our companies. At Renée Rouleau Skin Care, we proudly hold ‘Learn and Grow’ as a major core value of our company. The skincare industry itself continues to advance and evolve so rapidly, it is critical for all of us to remain informed and educated. This is what inspired me to start our wildly successful blog—to share my knowledge with skincare enthusiasts and estheticians from around the globe who desire continuing education. – Renée Rouleau

The Renée Rouleau Esthetics Scholarships will be awarded through the Beauty Changes Lives Organization. Applications for our Fall season will be accepted September 1 – November 30, 2021

Scholarship Description & Award Information
Learning is the spark that ignites growth and fuels a rewarding career. Rooted in a commitment to “learn and grow” the Renée Rouleau Esthetician Scholarship aims to kindle new talent with the spark of education and set ablaze a vibrant future for next gen skin care professionals.
This scholarship lifts up the next generation of estheticians as it encourages students to take the first step toward their dream career – by investing in professional education. Applicants are invited to share what inspires their career calling and their goals for the future as a licensed esthetician. Through this scholarship, Renée Rouleau Skin Care and Beauty Changes Lives aim to nurture glowing careers and invest in beautiful, careers that change lives.
Application requirements:
  • Must be a new or currently enrolled esthetic students attending a school that leads to licensure in the U.S.
  • Must upload proof of enrollment in an esthetics program i.e.: acceptance letter or progress report from school
  • Applicant must complete the online application and submit proof ef enrollment to accompany application video.
  • Application must include a 3-minute maximum video answering the following questions:
    • (A.) Explain the moment when you were certain that a career in esthetics was your calling.
    • (B.) What are your short term & long-term goals for your esthetics career? Is there an area of esthetics you want to specialize in? Why? What inspired you to become an esthetician? How would receiving the scholarship impact your scholastic experience?
    • (C.) Tell us about your career goals.
