Hannah is on a mission to put an end to fast-fashion and the damage it inflicts on the eco-system. In her application video she states, “Sixty percent of the items we buy each year end up in landfills.” This eco-smart student notes that according to the UN Alliance for Sustainable Fashion, the fashion industry was responsible for 8-10% of global carbon emissions in 2019.
