1. Install the App

  • From your Shopify admin, go to the App Store and search for “Give & Grow by Pledge.”
  • Click Install to add the app to your store. It’s free to install and designed to work with modern Shopify themes. Pledge

2. Choose “Beauty Changes Lives” as the Cause

  • Open the Give & Grow app within Shopify.
  • Select “Set up customer donations” then click “Add donation button.”
  • Choose Beauty Changes Lives from the nonprofit directory.

3. Customize the Donation Experience

  • Design how the donation prompt appears at checkout:
    • Options include round-up, fixed-dollar, percentage-based, or product-linked donations.
    • You can also enable matching gift functionality, like matching each customer donation up to a certain amount.
  • Preview the button to ensure it aligns with your brand’s look and feel. If your theme doesn’t support automatic placement, use the manual embed instructions provided in the app’s help section to insert the button in slide-out carts or custom locations. Give & Grow App for Shopify

4. Activate & Position the Donation Button

  • Once configured, click “Save.”
  • Then select “Add donation button to your theme” to ensure it appears in checkout or cart pages.
