“Beauty is my passion because it allows me to express myself in a creative way. My purpose in life is to inspire and encourage others that no matter what life brings, there is beauty on the other side. On the left side of my inspiration board, I depict my former life and the things that gave me the courage to walk away from an abusive marriage. I thought back on my life experiences and revisited the idea of reviving my career in the beauty industry. A bird being released from a cage, a rose growing through concrete, and quotes that reflect self-worth all represent what I needed for a fresh start. The right side of my inspiration board represents the present and the future. The ‘always see the beauty’ quote is a reminder that no matter what challenges come up, I can always see the best in a situation. The ribbon cutting photo represents my future plans to one day open my own salon, and the ‘beautiful minds inspire others’ quote demonstrates my willingness to learn and perfect my craft as well as my desire to inspire and educate those who’d like to be a part of this amazing industry.”
