I have recently turned thirty and I needed a change in my life. Having always loved taking care of my mind, body and soul (and of course my nails), it wasn’t until my sister put these things together that I realized where my passion truly lies. Starting a second career has been a very big learning curve, but from the time I have spent in the beauty industry, I can see my sister was right. Every day that I spend bringing my passion and beauty into the salon teaches me that every client is more than just about nails. It is about making personal connections with your clients. Helping them through life’s trials and celebrating life’s achievements. It’s about helping everyone who sits in your chair find their beauty, inside and out. Everyday, I grow as a person, as an artist and with some blood, sweat and tears – a thriving business professional. If you have a passion for what you do, as I do, it won’t feel like work. At the end of the day, you have made someone look and feel like a movie star, I don’t know about you, but I think that is pretty awesome.
