As a child I discovered the beauty industry. I especially remember getting a professional manicure for the first time at age sixteen. Watching other nail techs that sunny day inspired me to want to learn everything about nails. I was so intrigued, I knew then I found my passion. Nails! I’m in the position to help others forget about their long work day, feel great about themselves and have some time away from the kids. I’m blessed to do what I love to do. The beauty business is an industry that constantly evolves and I love to be part of that. It gives me the opportunity to learn and grow as an independent nail technician. Education for what I love to do is more than six months of practical and theory training. Yes! After nail school is over, after we’ve taken our state board exam, the journey doesn’t end there! Beauty Changes Lives will help me fulfill my purpose to gain the skill for financial security and to grow my business. Over the years I’ve grown to appreciate the beauty industry because it has taught me to be proud to have my own style. I’m fulfilling a dream, my own.
