Jade is inspired by the transformative effect skincare and make-up can have on an individual’s self-esteem. She notes that while makeup artists and estheticians can help people look better, these professionals also play a powerful role in helping their clients feel better on the inside. Jade strives to help her young daughter realize that beauty is diverse and that every individual has an innate beauty that can shine through. “This scholarship will enable me and my daughter to have an even better life as I pursue an amazing career in skincare and makeup,” she says.
