At age 11, Stevie was inspired by her grandmother to pursue a career in esthetics and skincare. Self-conscious about hair loss resulting from breast cancer treatments, Stevie’s grandmother was reluctant to leave her home. In response, Steve began researching techniques for filling in brows and applying false lashes while encouraging her grandmother to love her natural beauty. Stevie’s passion for makeup continues. “The MUD Make-Up Designory Scholarship will change my life by teaching me exquisite techniques achieved with award winning products and designer education that I can use to create long lasting, precision applications,” she says.
