Kelly looks forward to applying her esthetics education to help people manage various skin conditions including acne, scarring or pigmentation issues while helping their inner beauty shine through. After battling an eating disorder for a decade, Kelly believes in the power of confidence to overcome challenges. “This scholarship will not only boost my self-confidence but also establish a solid foundation for building my career,” said Kelly.
You have to love yourself before you can love others. After receiving treatment for a 10 year eating disorder, I realized what this meant. I lost self-confidence, memories, opportunities and relationships throughout my struggle. With esthetics, whether the frustration is acne, scaring or pigmentation, I want to help people realize their beauty. Both inner and outer beauty, so they don’t make the same mistakes I did. This scholarship will not only boost my self confidence, but help set a foundation for my career. I will love myself even more knowing that I have helped someone struggling, just like I was.
